Heathmont Baseball Club is very pleased to announce that highly regarded Penguin stalwart Mitch Ayres has been re-appointed Club Coach for the 2024 season. Prior to Club Coach, Mitch was hitting bombs for Heathmont and running our defense, he had already racked up an impressive career;
- Victorian Junior representative
- Member of the VIS
- Australian U17 representative
- Played professionally with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, Draci Brno in the Czech Professional League, and the Melbourne Aces
- Coached Junior Victorian State teams, VIS & Victorian Academy teams
- Club Coach of Upwey FTG Baseball Club and Knox Baseball Club
We are very excited to see the 2024 season unfold and can’t wait to see the teams get to work under Mitch’s leadership.
